Summary: Please join us for the upcoming Congressional Internet Caucus Advisory Committee briefing on consumer privacy legislation. Last month, Congressmen Rick Boucher and Cliff Stearns, respectively Chairman and Ranking Member of the House Subcommittee on Communications, Technology and the Internet, released a discussion draft of legislation "to assure the privacy of information about individuals both on the Internet and offline." This is the most significant movement in over half a decade to craft privacy rules for consumers in the digital age.
