Hedda Litwin is Cyberspace Law Counsel for the National Association of Attorneys General (NAAG) where she is responsible for the Cyberspace Law Program, which includes developing cyber crime training programs, as well as the cyber crime e-newsletter, developed under NAAG’s partnership with the National Center for Justice and the Rule of Law. At NAAG, she also staffs the Executive Working Group on Prosecutorial Relations. She is a frequent speaker and currently serves on the NCMEC sexting task force as well as the Online Safety and Technology Working Group under the auspices of the U.S. Department of Commerce.
Hedda began her career as an Advisory Systems Engineer for the IBM Corporation, where she designed and implemented computer systems for government and private industry. While at IBM she attended the University of Miami School of Law in the evening, graduating with honors. She clerked for the late U.S. District Court Judge Eugene Spellman in the Southern District of Florida, then joining a private law firm. Hedda then moved to the Washington, D.C. area, where she worked for the Disability Rights Section of the U.S. Department of Justice before joining NAAG. She is a member of the District of Columbia, Maryland and Florida State Bars and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida and the U.S. Supreme Court.
